Micah Stouffer has been named runner-up for this year’s regional Poetry Out Loud competition.
Poetry Out Loud is a contest that encourages the nation’s youth to learn about great poetry through memorization and recitation. This program helps students master public speaking skills, build self-confidence, and learn about their literary heritage.
For the past 6 years, BCS High School students have participated in Poetry Out Loud. BCS has had 4 regional runner-up winners and 2 students who have gone on to compete at the state level.
